We aggregate points across user ballots using a modified AP-style system. For a Top 25, a first-place vote is worth 25 points, a second-place vote is worth 24 points, and so on, down to one point for a 25th-place vote. The total points for each team are then tallied to determine the official fan ranking for the week. This ensures every ballot contributes to the community consensus.
